I absolutely loved my Easter getaway at this charming hotel. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of pastries, cheeses, and cold meats to choose from. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ensuring that I had a perfect cup of coffee in hand. The location was also ideal, nestled in a peaceful countryside setting with beautiful woods and fields. It was the perfect escape from city life.

There were a couple of things that could have been better. the dinner at the nearby restaurant was quite expensive and felt a bit pretentious.

We had 2 babies so couldn't eat at the restaurant and there was no room service so meal times were a problem.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the countryside, it offers a peaceful and tranquil escape. The stunning grounds are perfect for taking a silent walk and enjoying the beautiful views. The rooms, although in need of some work, are huge and very clean, with lovely indoor and outdoor sitting areas to relax in. The staff is delightfully friendly and gracious, providing exceptional service. The in-house restaurant offers outstanding food with exceptional, cordial service. The breakfast, although lacking a little choice, is very French with all the usual pastries and nice coffee.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel in a quiet area of France. The hotel is a hidden gem, offering excellent value for money. The location is often overlooked by tourists, who tend to flock to other popular destinations. However, this hotel should not be missed out on.

We loved staying at Chateau De Nieuil, it was not only a beautiful place to look at, it was so relaxing with acres of gardens, lovely pool, expansive bed, bathroom and room to fit the ambience of the chateau. Our evening meal at the restaurant was outstanding.

As English could have done with tea / coffee making facilities in the room.

I had such a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel in France. The location was absolutely perfect, nestled in a tranquil area that offered a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The staff here were exceptional, from the reception to the chambermaids, everyone was friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room amenities were top-notch, with a well-stocked mini-bar and even an am/fm alarm clock and CD player. The dining experience was superb, with a fantastic restaurant and a cozy bar/lounge area where I could relax and unwind. The outdoor swimming pool was a refreshing bonus, and the free Wi-Fi was a great convenience.

I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a luxurious and comfortable hotel experience.

The ladies managing the hotel are charming and most helpful. The restaurant is owned and managed separately from the hotel and is first class.

This hotel has failed to maintain itself as it deserves. The rooms are seriously tired, with tatty worn carpets and much wear and tear. The owners have failed to invest in the hotel over many years(decades), its a lovely building but clearly something has gone awry. Looking at the building from the ornate garden the owners have placed a satellite dish and various TV antennas, its quite unbelievable, given the otherwise excellent architecture. I hope new owners will one day give the building the care and investment it deserves.

For the price we paid, we definitely got our money's worth. The room was spacious, well-stocked, and equipped with a fridge and A/C, which was a big plus during the heat wave. The chateau and its grounds were absolutely stunning, and the location was peaceful and picturesque. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient, always remembering our names and preferences. They made us feel right at home and were a joy to talk to.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was if there were hooks to hang the shower heads in the bathrooms. The French-style bathrooms, while charmingly fitting with the chateau, could use some updating.

The bottom floor room was lovely with the open windows into the gorgeous garden. A wonderful experience but really too expensive. Dinner at their restaurant also very nice but expensive. Skipped breakfast because we were tired of spending lots of money there.

Nestled within the lush green nature, this hidden gem of a hotel offers an intimate and peaceful getaway. Take a walk around the gardens and explore the art gallery and antique shop in the former servants' quarters. The restaurant's delicious food is sure to impress, and we've heard rumors it may soon receive a Michelin star. Even in bad weather, there's plenty to do in the area. The staff go above and beyond and the well-kept rooms offer stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

The signs leading up to the hotel could stand to be more visible, making it easier to find.

Fab..... Lucy, who looked after us on arrival is wonderful. Her English is excellant and her passion for the Chateau is infectious. It was also our pleasure to meet the owner when we arrived, who again was very welcoming. We had a lovely room overlooking the delightful gardens and decorated with beautiful antiques. Restaurant reflects the Art Gallery in site, and is situated in the old stable block. It is open to non- residents as well and for a Thursday night was fully booked. The menu, presentation and quality of food deserved the highest praise. The staff again were very attentive and the contemporary twist works well with the fairy tale setting. Highly reccomended.
